Sheffield Education in Cancer and Long Term Conditions

This programme is supported financially by Yorkshire and the Humber Local Education and Training Board. The programme provides education and training for those involved in the care of patients who have cancer and long term conditions.

The programmes are accessible to all healthcare workers in the South Yorkshire region who work in the delivery of care to patients with cancer and long term conditions, (including HCP who work in the private sector)

All courses are free of charge unless otherwise stated.

A quarterly programme is produced providing details of the study days and conferences available. This is distributed electronically throughout South Yorkshire via an extensive distribution list that has been compiled with the help of key professionals in the South Yorkshire Region.

The South Yorkshire Education in Cancer & Long Term Conditions design group of lead professionals in South Yorkshire Region meet bi annually to discuss on-going programmes and to help identify the educational needs of healthcare workers working in cancer care and long term conditions throughout the region.
