The Sheffield radiopharmacy is a specifically designed pharmacy unit in which radioactive drugs (radio-pharmaceuticals) are produced and blood from patients is labelled with radioactive material.
The radioactive products produced in the radiopharmacy are required for most aspects of work carried out in Nuclear Medicine departments throughout Sheffield and in many hospitals in the wider region (including in Chesterfield and Doncaster).
