Pain Management Programmes

Our Pain Education session lasts 3 hours (with regular breaks) and is a good starting point for anyone thinking about how to manage their pain. This is an introduction to pain management and many of our patients go on to attend our 9 week pain Management Programme.

The 9 week Pain Management Programme is a weekly group-based course that runs over 9 weeks and aims to help those living with persistent pain to develop ways of dealing with the physical and emotional difficulties caused by being in pain.

'I have found the programme invaluable. The support I have received and knowledge gained have enabled my rehabilitation.'

It involves talks and practical sessions where people learn about pain, develop new skills to address the difficulties associated with being in pain and gain confidence in movement, helping people to improve their fitness and flexibility.
