Professional Profile

I did all my cardiothoracic surgical training here in the UK with some extra senior fellowship years in Sheffield performing all aspects of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. I was appointed as a Consultant Cardiac surgeon initially at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff in October 2013 and later on moved to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield where I am now a Consultant Cardiac surgeon with a specialist interest in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and major Aorto-vascular surgery.

I am the recipient of the American Association of Thoracic Surgery Graham Foundation Advanced Valve Disease Educational Fellowship for 2015 to the John Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, USA
