The unit is staffed by a GP 9.00am – 9.00pm each day.
A Senior Nurse is on duty at all times. Nursing staff are drawn from community and secondary care services delivering high quality evidence based care.
The staff on the unit will ensure onward referral to appropriate services including:
- DRT - Dischange Response Team
- AICS - Assessment and Integrated Care Scheme
- CICS - Community Intermediate Care Service
