Changing or cancelling an appointment
It is important that you let us know if you cannot attend your appointment. This helps us to reduce the number of wasted appointments and to offer your appointment to another patient who is waiting to be seen.
You can do this by contacting us through the number given on your appointment letter. We have also introduced an automated appointment reminder service so that you can easily confirm if you are planning to attend your outpatient appointment or not.
Please remember to let us know if you have changed your name, address, or your GP, so that we can update our records.
To help us find your appointment record, please have the following information to hand:
- The date you are coming into hospital
- Your hospital number (this can be found on your admission letter and starts with two letters followed by four numbers)
