Sheffield hosts 15th edition of leading gastroenterology symposium
A gastroenterology meeting featuring talks and presentations from national and international experts is once again being hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The 15th Annual Sheffield Gastroenterology Symposium takes place at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Quays on 22nd September 2023.
The programme this year is endoscopy focussed and will bring together experts to deliver talks covering areas including new therapies, endoscopy practice and clinical problems.
The symposium is open to all with an interest in gastroenterology – this could be trainees, consultants, associate specialists, advanced medical practitioners, nurses (whether endoscopy, clinics, or GI ward background), dietitians, or junior doctors.
Sheffield is a leading centre for gastroenterology, and is one of only two centres in the UK, and 20 in the world, to be awarded Centre of Excellence status by the World Endoscopy Organisation.
Professor David Sanders, Consultant Gastroenterologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, said: “We are lucky to have the usual amazing array of internationally and nationally recognised speakers. The program is designed around feedback so we hope that the talks are relevant and will influence your practice. Thank you for the continued support of this meeting.”
Attendance is in person only and attendees are asked to register online at www.sheffieldgastro.nhs.uk, where further information and a full programme is available.
