Patients that have been referred for an X-ray are being advised not to attend the walk-in X-ray service on Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th July
From 8am on Tuesday 25 July to 8am on Thursday 27 July 2023, radiographers across the NHS, including hospitals within Sheffield, will be taking 48 hours of industrial action. This means that there will be no walk-in service for X-ray at the Northern General Hospital, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Charles Clifford Dental Hospital during this period.
If you are a patient that has been referred for an X-ray by your GP, please do not attend our walk-in service during these times. Normal walk-in service will resume at 8am on Thursday 27th July.
Regrettably we are also having to postpone some outpatient appointments and procedures and patients will be contacted directly if their appointment is affected. We will work as quickly as possible to re-arrange any postponed care.
