Roshani Bagnall has won the Health & Public Service Apprentice of the Year in the Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Awards.


Roshani participated in a leadership and management apprenticeship which is a course run by the Sheffield College and since completing the course Roshani has been appointed the Operational Lead for the Assessment and Rehabilitation Therapy Team (ARTT) at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Lynn Johnson, Assessment and Rehabilitation Therapy Team service manager, who nominated Roshani said: “I nominated Roshani because she gave 110% to the apprenticeship programme and adapted well to the many challenges it presented during the pandemic. I am delighted that since completing the course Roshani now has secured an operational secondment post in the Assessment and Rehabilitation Therapy Team.”

Roshani said: “I am grateful for being put forward for the apprenticeship course. Despite the challenges of the course, I grew in confidence and learnt a tremendous amount which has proven useful in my current role with the ARTT team. I am grateful and honoured that I won the award”

These awards recognise and reward both the apprentices and their employers that are excelling across the Sheffield City Region.
