Well-being clinic shortlisted for Royal Society for Public Health’s prestigious Health & Wellbeing Awards 2026!

Our Maternity Mental Health Team in partnership with Sheffield City Council's Family Intervention Service have been shortlisted as one of 3 finalists in the Royal Society for Public Health’s prestigious Health & Wellbeing Awards 2026.

The Maternity Mental Health Team is a small specialist midwifery team that are dedicated to supporting women and birthing people who may need additional care around their emotional well-being and mental health during pregnancy and in the early postnatal period when relationships are developing with their new baby. They work closely with other specialist services to get the right support for and in a way that works for them and their family.

The team also facilitate Well-being Clinics in partnership with the Family Intervention Service. The well-being clinic provides inclusive early intervention for women and birthing people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties during pregnancy.

Delivered across Sheffield’s Family Hubs, it supports diverse communities to engage with tailored antenatal support, whilst addressing wider social, practical and environmental factors.

The Well-being clinics have been shortlisted as one of the final three for the Royal Society for Public Health's prestigious Health and Wellbeing Awards 2026.

Good luck to the team who will be heading to London in November to attend the awards!
