Effective from Friday morning, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals will be partially closing A Road at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and reverting back to one way traffic and opening up B road to vehicles , in order to facilitate excavation works outside the main Outpatients Department entrance. (as indicated on the enclosed plan)
Please note the following points:
• Traffic to and from the multi storey car park will be unaffected
•
The traffic management arrangements will be put in place on Thursday 24th November at 11 PM , in order that work can start on Friday morning
•
Pedestrian access into the OPD entrance will be maintained
•
Ambulance parking area will be adjusted to facilitate the contractors work area shown on the drawing
•
Disabled parking bays adjacent to or within the works area will be unavailable
•
The works are planned to take approximately 1 week to complete and further communication will be sent out once the exact end date is known
