With half term taking place this week, NHS Covid-19 vaccination leaders in Sheffield are urging students, and their families, to get vital protection against Covid-19.
Many vaccination services across the region are increasing the number of clinics and pop-up sites to make it even easier for young people and their families to get jabbed during this month’s school and college break.
Kirsten Major, Chief Executive at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: “We are urging students and families to take this opportunity over half term to get vaccinated to protect yourself and others against COVID-19. We have plenty of walk-in clinics open this week to pop by and get your 1st, 2nd or booster vaccination.”
During half-term this week Sheffield Children’s 0-19 Vaccinations Team are offering a drop-in service at the following locations for 12 to 15 year olds. Young people will need to have their parent or carer with them when they visit or if you would prefer to make an appointment with our team, please call 0114 305 3230 or email scn-tr.sheffielddutysn.vacandimm@nhs.net.
