Sheffield Teaching Hospitals are inviting members of the public to come along to the hospitals and listen to a heart stopping, exciting lecture about the new advances in cardiology as well as the new primary angioplasty service for heart attack victims in Sheffield.
If you are interested in learning more about our highly skilled team, and the way in which lives are being saved by advanced technology and research, then the ‘Heart to Heart’ event is for you. It takes place at the Northern General hospital on Tuesday 26th August at 5.30pm.
Consultant Cardiologist, Dr Julian Gunn is the guest speaker;
"I am delighted to speak, and I hope that my presentation will give the public a flavour of the cutting edge services available to them should they need it. I also hope to take a look ahead to how heart care is likely to develop in the future and what treatments are on the horizon for meeting the needs of the some 220 Sheffield people who suffer a major heart attack each year."
This event is for foundation trust members, but don’t worry if you are not already a member, you can join on the day and membership is free.
For further information or to register your interest please contact Jane Pellegrina on 0114 271 4322, who will reserve your place and give you details of the lecture venue.
