We are currently introducing a new computer system which brings all a patient’s record into one place rather than spread across lots of different systems. Aspects of the information transferred from our old system to the new one, along with the format of some neurology outpatient clinics is being reconfigured as part of this change which means there has been a temporary disruption to booking some appointments. Work to resolve this is underway. Our clinical teams are continuing to prioritise the most urgent appointments, and we will contact all patients who are waiting for an appointment as normal when their appointment date is scheduled. Our waiting times for the majority of appointments remain broadly the same.
