Outpatient Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy is the practice of taking blood samples from patients for testing.

We provide outpatient phlebotomy services across several locations in Sheffield, including a convenient drive-through option.

Locations and opening times

Royal Hallamshire Hospital

  • Location: C-floor, RHH
  • Opening times: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:50pm (excluding Bank Holidays) and Saturdays 8am - 12.30pm

Northern General Hospital

  • Location: Huntsman Building, B Floor, NGH
  • Opening times: Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), 8:30am to 5pm.

Drive-Through Blood Testing (Longley Lane)

  • Location: Building 183 (Former Blood Service site), Longley Lane, Sheffield, S5 7JN. Click here for more information. 
  • Opening times: Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 7.30am - 4.50pm and Saturdays 8am - 12:30pm.
