Neurophysiology

The department of clinical neurophysiology specialises in tests for a range of neurological disorders. We provide a service for adult and paediatric inpatients and outpatients in Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Barnsley and Worksop. Out of area referrals may be accepted. The department has been awarded the Improving Quality in Physiological Services Programme (IQIPS) accreditation.

If you need a test within the neurophysiology department you will usually be referred by a consultant neurologist. For a small number of tests we provide GP referrals will be accepted.
