The Sheffield Adult Neurological Sleep Service based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital is a consultant-led service offering specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment to patients with neurological sleep disorders.
We have excellent inpatient and outpatient diagnostic facilities offering full neurological and respiratory polysomnography.

Please note we do not manage pure sleep disordered breathing conditions such as obstructive sleep apnoea (please refer these patients to local respiratory sleep clinics) but we do help to manage complex, refractory cases of sleep related breathing disorders, especially those with comorbid neurological conditions.
Pure insomnia disorders do not come under the remit of this neurological sleep clinic unless they are associated with other neurological disorders of sleep as stated above.
