The Medical Imaging department – sometimes called the X-Ray, Diagnostic or Radiology department provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional services at all hospitals within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals including Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Northern General Hospital, Weston Park Hospital and Charles Clifford Dental Hospital.

The Radiology department is where we carry out imaging examinations, which include various tests and procedures to diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions.
We provide services to adults from Sheffield and regionally, covering inpatients, outpatients, direct access from GP services and the Emergency Department, supporting our Major Trauma Centre.
