Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis

The Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) Service at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) offers high quality care for people aged 16 years and up, that are confirmed or suspected of having HLH. We provide multi-disciplinary care for patients with HLH, as both in-patients and out-patients. Our team consists of doctors from Rheumatology, Haematology, Infectious Diseases, Virology and Critical Care.

As part of the UK HLH Network we provide an advisory service for patients, throughout the UK, through our National Advisory Panel – see below for referral information.

We work closely with the other specialist UK centre at University College London Hospitals who provide panel discussion weekly and HLH On call service – see HLH Service | Specialist HLH Care at UCLH London
