Ear, nose and throat

The Ear, Nose and Throat service provides surgical and medical treatment for people with a number of conditions.

These include:

  • Removal of ear wax/ treatment of ear conditions
  • Dressings
  • Removal of sutures
  • Manipulation of fractured nose (under local anaesthetic)
  • Allergy testing
  • Biopsies
  • Hearing tests
  • Positional testing (for patients with dizziness)
  • Tracheostomy tube changes
  • Nasal cautery (treatment for nose bleeds) under local anaesthetic

Every day Monday to Friday from 9am unti 4.30pm.

This service is based at  B Floor, Outpatients Dept,  Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
