Patient wellbeing is another key area where we are developing improvements and our psychosocial workstream are in the process of developing a training programme for renal care providers to educate them on how to improve care to those who require additional support from a psychosocial standpoint.
Kidney Care UK provide help and wellbeing support for kidney patients, additionally, they can provide grant forms such as holiday grants and guidance leaflets.
Kidney Care UK also have a Young Adult Kidney Group (ages 18-30). This is a closed Facebook peer support group for kidney patients ages 16-30. They also have an annual residential at Mount Cook Adventure Centre.

The National Kidney Federation provide support for kidney patient via their helpline, along with patient resources such as patient cards and support packs.
