Speech & Language Therapy

Speech and Language Therapists  work with people with a wide range of communication and/or swallowing difficulties. The ability to communicate is central to who we are, how we learn and how we relate to each other at home and at work.

We offer a service to both in-patients and out-patients at a variety of locations to help patients with language, speech, voice, hearing loss and swallowing disorders.

In Sheffield we offer a comprehensive swallowing clinic which involves special equipment toinvestigate swallowing difficulties.

Speech and Language Therapy involves direct contact with people with communication and/or swallowing difficulties as well as working with their carers and significant others in their lives.
