Respiratory Medicine - Lung Disease

Our thoracic/respiratory medicine service aims to develop and deliver comprehensive services for patients with all types of lung disease.

Physicians with large experience and expertise provide services across the whole of respiratory medicine in association with nurse practitioners and respiratory physiologists.

We see and care for patients with:

  • Bronchiectasis
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Lung cancer
  • Occupational lung disease
  • Pleural disease
  • Pulmonary embolism
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Sleep disorders / requiring non-invasive ventilation
  • Tuberculosis
  • Ambulatory oxygen and flight assessment
  • Bronchial reactivity testing
  • Cardiopulmonary exercise testing
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy including endobronchial ultrasound
  • Full lung function testing
  • Sleep studies
  • Thoracoscopy
  • Tuberculosis screening
