Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering

Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering sits within the Directorate of Medical Imaging and Medical Physics (MIMP) and provides medical physics and engineering support to a wide range of NHS and other institutions within the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw region.

Medical Physics employs circa 182 staff (55 scientists, 111 technical staff, 13 administrative staff and 3 nurses and porters). Our highly trained workforce provides a unique infrastructure for advanced diagnostics and treatments in a safe environment with full legislative and best practice compliance, all of which is supported by our innovative capability.
