The Endocrine Unit offers a comprehensive cross-city endocrine service through clinics at the Northern General Hospital and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
The service is supported by an Endocrine Investigation Unit at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital which is run by dedicated specialist endocrine nurses.
The unit sees and cares for patients with:
• Thyroid disease
• Endocrine surgery
• Pituitary disease
• Gynaecological endocrinology
• Neuroendocrine tumours
• Long-term follow-up of cancer survivors
