Ward Two

Welcome to Ward two. We care for patients with many different cancers including lung, brain, cervical, gastrointestinal, ovarian and thyroid cancer.

We have 30 beds on the ward; 24 are divided into bays and we have six single rooms. There is a patients' sitting room with a television and each bay has Patientline access.

Video players can be borrowed from the Patients' Library for use at the bedside. We also have a small room which we use for more private conversations.

The ward is managed by one senior sister, a junior sister and a charge nurse. Nursing care is carried out in teams and patients are cared for by the same team of nurses for the whole of their stay on the ward. The nursing staff will plan your care with you and will keep you updated on any changes.
