Ward Three

Welcome to Ward three. We care for patients with many different cancers including sarcoma, lymphoma, teratoma, trophoblastic disease, gastrointestinal, lung and ovarian cancer.

We have 24 beds on the ward; 20 are divided into bays, five are in single rooms and we have one single bay for patient undergoing intensive treatment.

There is a sitting room, with a television, on the ward and each bed has access to Patientline. We also have a small room which we use for more private conversations.

The ward is managed by one senior and two junior sisters. Nursing care is carried out in teams and patients are cared for by the same team of nurses for the whole of their stay on the ward.
