Making a difference

Our staff, patients, Governors, members, partners and community representatives helped us shape our Trust corporate strategy called “Making a difference – the next chapter.” The strategy sets out our vision, aims and values and is a guide for our development over the next five years.

We are focussed on delivering safe, timely care to our patients and supporting our staff continues to be an imperMaking a difference strategy documentative as we enter the next stage of our development so that they can have a good work life balance, achieve their full potential and feel able to deliver high quality care to our patients.

We also want to play our part in addressing the climate crisis by progressing our sustainability work. Partnership working is key and moving forward it will be important to work with others on the City and Region’s wider recovery as one of the largest employers in South Yorkshire and a significant contributor to the economy.

Mission

We are here to improve health and wellbeing, to support people to keep mentally and physically well, to get better when they are ill and when they cannt full recover, to stay as well as they can to the end of their lives. We aim to work at the limits of science - bringing th highest levels of human knowledge and skill to savelives and improve health. We touch lives at the times of basic human need when our care and compassion are what matter to most people.
