The effective running of the Trust is the responsibility of the Board of Directors, The Board of Directors is made up of Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors including the Chairman. The Board delegates the management of the Trust to the Executive Directors who make up the Trust Executive Group.

The organisation is then divided into Clinical and Corporate Groups and Directorates.

Each Clinical Care Group has one or more Clinical Directors. Clinical Directors are responsible for the clinical and financial performance of the directorates within the Group. Clinical Directors report to the Chief Executive.

Clinical Directors are supported by an Operations Director and Nurse Directors. Operations Directors look after aspects of planning and performance within the directorate. Nurse Directors look after all aspects of the patient experience and work closely with Operations Directors to make sure the correct resources are available to be able to deliver high standards of patient care.

The care groups are all structured differently as their functions and responsibilities vary. The main priority of each and every directorate is to deliver the highest quality patient care and continuously work towards improving the patient experience.
