The Trust has changed the way that volunteers are recruited to ensure that volunteers have a positive and fulfilling experience of working at the hospitals.
The voluntary services team are no longer able to accept ad-hoc applications. Instead, people wishing to volunteer at the hospital will now be asked to apply during one of two recruitment stages throughout the year which are the months of February and September.
Our February Recruitment Phase has now opened and will close on 26th February 2010 at 5pm. Please note applications received after this date will not be considered.

Our Application Form and Equal Opportunities Form are available to download and return via post or email using our contact information below. Alternatively you can phone the Voluntary Services Team and request a Volunteer Application Pack.
The new system means that each cohort of volunteers will start their placement at around the same time; enabling them to make friends with other new volunteers, undergo an induction programme before commencing their placement and access further opportunities.
