League of Friends

The Sheffield League of Friends is a registered charity and was established in 1969. The charity consists of dedicated volunteers who devote their time to raise funds for the hospital.

All funds are dedicated to providing additional services, facilities and equipment to patients, visitors and staff within the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

The League of Friends has sponsored Sarah Lees as Snack Bar Coordinator to manage their services within Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The charity has a variety of opportunities to get involved in. In addition, you can become a member of the charity. Membership is open to all volunteers, staff and members of the public. Costing £1 annually, as a member you will be invited to join us at our social events and the Annual General Meeting.

The volunteering opportunities available include helping in the League’s coffee shop, trolley service, outpatient meet and greet service and charity shop.
