How could Psychotherapy Help?

Psychotherapy can be helpful for helping a person come to terms with their diagnosis and cope with a wide range of psychological issues relating to it. These difficulties might include adjustment, loss, anxiety and depression. We work holistically to encourage greater awareness of the link between mind and body.

The types of interventions we may offer include; using creative approaches to manage psychological distress, couples work, managing relationships, emotional processing, working through trauma, stabilisation strategies, understanding and working to change unhelpful thinking and behavioural patterns, acceptance and mindfulness based interventions, psycho-education, stress reduction, working with memory difficulties, developing coping skills.
