Teamwork

There are around 25 members of staff that work within the CVBRU.

These range from the Director to a range of support staff, from investigators to technicians. The pages in this section aim to provide information on all of those involved with the unit.

BRU Investigators are those members of staff who are directly funded by the CVBRU to conduct research. Affiliates are not directly funded by the unit but still play a vital role in the development of a world-class research environment

There are also a large number of support staff, without whom quality, ethical research would be nigh on impossible. There is a team of research nurses based at the unit and finally there are all the trainees who are linked to the unit. These include students doing BMedSci’s and Ph.D’s.
