• Studying for a PhD with Prof Eastell and Dr John Newell-Price to investigate the effects of oestradiol and cortisol on osteoporosis and vertebral fractures.
• Graduated from the University of Malta.
• Member of the Royal College of Physicians (London), Society for Endocrinology, The Endocrine Society and National Osteoporosis Society.
• Recently completed a three-year Academic Clinical Fellowship at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals as an Academic SPR in Endocrinology/Diabetes/General Internal Medicine.
• Research aim will be to improve the assessment of fracture risk in the clinical management of patients with osteoporosis.
