One of the goals of the Biomedical Research Unit for Musculoskeletal Disease is to provide training for new investigators in the field.  To this end we offer a number of undergraduate and postgraduate studentships, including intercalated BMedSci degrees to medical students. We have extended our training this year to include four clinical fellows, who are working towards MDs or PhDs.

Not only do these placements offer the opportunity to work alongside our principal invetigators, we also have introduced a training programme designed to encourage the development of transferable skills, as well as providing a sound knowledge base of bone metabolism and disease.
