Centre for Biomedical Research

The Centre for Biomedical Research (CBR), originally the Clinical Sciences building at the Northern General Hospital, was completely refurbished to house the Clinical Research Facility and research offices of the Biomedical Research Units for Musculoskeletals Disease Cardiovascular Disease. The centre became operational in the autumn of 2009 and has proved to be a highly functional and convenient facility. The Bimedical Research Unit for Musculoskeletal Disease has a number of research offices on the ground floor, along with a shared seminar room in which departmental meetings, presentations, teaching sessions and Lay Advisory Panel meetings are held.

The Biorepository is housed on the ground floor, whilst the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) occupies the first floor.
