Car Parking

There are limited parking spaces around all the hospitals and you will need to allow yourself extra time to find a parking space.

Please bring plenty of change as a Pay and Display Parking system is in operation. Parking charges currently are:

Up to 4 hours - £2.40
Over 4 hours - £3.50

Disabled parking

If you are brought into hospital by another driver they are welcome to drop you off outside the department you are visiting and then park in a designated parking area. Disabled car parking spaces are available near the main entrances to all major buildings.

Concessionary Parking Permits

To assist those regularly attending our sites to visit an inpatient for a prolonged period of time, a concessionary parking permit system is operated by the Trust. To be eligible for a permit, the inpatient must have been in the hospital for 3 weeks or more. 

To apply for a concessionary permit please complete the application form for the site you will be visiting:

Completed application forms can be submitted to the Ward Clerk on the ward where your relative is based. If successful the permit will be sent back to the Ward Clerk, who will then pass it on to you.

Please note that there is a two vehicle registration limit and only one application per relative is accepted.
