Want to know more about kidney health?
Are you interested in how the kidney works, how you can stay healthy to prevent kidney disease, or how you can help others by joining the organ donor registry?
If so, join us for our fun and informative event on World Kidney Day (Thursday 8th March 2012). The event will take place at the Medical Education Centre, Northern General Hospital, from 6pm to 8.30pm. Entry is free and refreshments will be provided.
The evening will see experts giving presentations on a wide range of topics relating to kidney health, including how it functions, how to maintain its health, and the patient perspective. There will be market stalls for you to browse, on topics such as transplantation, organ donor registry, kidney research, and kidney check-up.
You will also have an opportunity to put any questions you wish to doctors, nurses, researchers and patients, all of whom will be in attendance.
