Sustainable Development Action Plan

The measures outlined in this Sustainable Development Action Plan will assist Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust towards becoming a good corporate citizen, making a significant contribution to the health and sustainability of the communities it serves. 

This is a ‘living document’ which will be subject to review and adaptation in response to new challenges. Many objectives are aimed at gathering more information and creating individual business cases for approval/funding/implementation. This will ensure that all prospective projects are properly evaluated and progressed, with each individual business case to include the likely carbon savings, cost savings and other qualitative benefits where relevant.
